About four years ago our united families (Blumes) decided to join the "March Madness" craze. We, each using our own scientific method, chose our "brackets" and hoped for the best. This year the cream finally rose to the top of the crop. I successfully picked more winners and eventually the final NCAA champion, Kentucky. As the winner I received the coveted "Hank Yarbo Award for Excellence and Dumb Luck in the NCAA Tournament" which I am required to prominently display til next year. The picture above captures the true joy and excitement as I was ceremoniously presented the plaque (for which no expense was expended) yesterday at the Wisconsin/Minnesota state line by last year's winner Summer Nimz.Winning this award (and knowing how to spell NCAA) is certainly worth a laugh any day!!!
